WARRANTY COVERAGE
FPS Diesel Transmissions (“FPS,” “we,” “our”) warrants to the original purchaser that our rebuilt
and performance built transmissions be free of defects in materials and workmanship under
normal use for a period of one consecutive 12 month period, or 12,000 miles from the date, or odometer reading, of original purchase, whichever comes first.
This warranty applies only to the transmission as assembled by FPS.

WHAT IS COVERED
- Failures due to defects in materials or workmanship of the FPS-built transmission.
- Failures due to workmanship of the transmission’s installation (if installed by FPS).
- Replacement or repair of the defective transmission or components, at FPS’s discretion.
- Labor reimbursement up to $800 if repair is made by a certified professional and warranty
repair is approved by FPS first.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED
- Transmissions that have been tampered with, altered, or disassembled by unauthorized parties.
- Damage due to misuse, abuse (running higher horsepower/torque than trans is rated for), improper tuning, or towing beyond rated capacity.
- Improper installation. If another party performs an installation of a transmission built by FPS,
that party is liable for installation related damages and claims.

NOTE: If you install the transmission yourself, it is your responsibility to make sure that the torque converter is properly seated ALL the way in the pump, the cooler and lines are properly flushed (not just blown through with fresh fluid), and that any necessary relearn procedures are properly performed. 
- Lack of maintenance, incorrect fluid types, overheating, or external failures (e.g., cooler,
radiator, transfer case, driveline failure).
- Consequential damages including towing, lost time, rental vehicles, shipping, or business losses.
- FPS Diesel Transmissions never has and never will warrant parts from unapproved or unauthorized sources (e.g., customer sourced parts, unauthorized junkyard parts, unapproved web sources.)

Oversized Tire & Gearing: 

- 35" = min. 3.73, best = 4.10

- 37" = min. 4.10, best = 4.30

- 40" = min. 4.30, over 40" = 4.56
